Every Picture Tells A Story: Photo Journaling
May 29, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm MST

Instructor: David Behar
There really is a story behind any series of travel photos and that story deserves to be journaled. It complements each and every photograph taken on a journey, a multi-sensory enhancement of your photo memories.
Documenting your thoughts and impressions, an emotional response or maybe a changed perspective, adds more than just a written narrative. It’s a bonus accompaniment to your photo chronicles, lending perspective, tone and relevance; the unique thumbprint of a moment in time characterized by a mood.
It doesn’t need to be perfect prose to add intimate or inspiring dimensions to your photographs, though your trip through the park will surely do just that.
We will meet at the parks north Visitor Center, Interstate 40, exit 311, then begin with the Painted Desert overlooks.
Continuing through the park, we will walk through the whispers of time at Puerco Pueblo and Newspaper Rock, find union with the environment along the Long Logs Trail to Agate House and come back to reflect at Crystal Forest and the Blue Mesa Loop. We’ll take a break at a midpoint on our journey at the Rainbow Forest Museum for lunch or a snack.
This course was designed for beginners and experienced users, alike.
